Great experience. When I called to get information they google mapped my house and gave me a quote over the phone which was followed up with an emailed quote. There was a tab to accept the quote and make deposit. After the appointment was booked they came and matched the lights with my soffit and fascia. I am very happy and grateful that Klix Services installed my holiday lighting today, December 3, 2025. The entire experience from discussing their services and my design to the free quote to installation was smooth, friendly and easy. * Sobtine, owner and operator, was easy to talk to, amiable, personable, receptive, open, friendly and knowledgeable, answering all of my questions. The quote was very reasonable, especially considering all of the work that they do and the services they provide. Employees are insured which prevents you from being held financially responsible for accidents. * A 50% deposit is required upon approval of your quote before an installation can be scheduled. For residential holiday lighting a $500 minimum applies to all projects to cover base service costs. Your complete holiday lighting service includes custom design, professional installation, takedown and storage. You own the lights; Klix Services handles everything else. * I am very grateful to Jordan and Sobhan who came today to install my holiday lighting under difficult weather conditions. It was super-cold today and with gusty winds it felt like -23C, with winds gusting to 54 km/hr. I’m sure glad that they were up on those ladders and that I wasn’t. The whole installation from start to finish took about 2 hours. God love them! * Expertly done. I love the multi-coloured lights and that I was able to choose my own colours! I had commercial-grade energy efficient, ultra bright C9 LED lights for the front roofline and top of the porch, and commercial-grade 5 mm wide-angle mini lights for the porch pillars and railings. The lengths of electrical cord with sockets were cut to fit. The lights were strung along the fascia rather than the eavestrough, and they tucked the porch lights just under or between the layers of the shingles. Perfect! So now I can use the roof rake to clear the snow off the porch and/or roof, and it won’t impact the lights. They used connectors to connect sections of the electrical cord together, and used a bit of glue to hold some of it to the fascia, so everything’s smooth and looks like it’s professionally done. I did not want a digital timer or anything app-related. The lights will operate manually using my existing exterior outlet/interior switch setup. Perfect so that I can turn the display on and off at my convenience as the days get shorter or longer. * And did you know? Klix Services provides in-season maintenance. If a bulb flickers or a strand needs attention, their team is just a call away, ready to restore the sparkle and keep your display shining bright! Very cool! * After the holidays, Klix Services carefully removes, organizes and stores my lights in their secure facility, keeping them protected and ready for next year. There are long-term savings on future seasons. 40% off home lighting re-installs; 40%-70% off all other décor items such as trees, garland and shrubs. Since I own the products, I’ll only pay for labor moving forward unless I decide to expand my display. And all lighting products include a lifetime warranty when Klix Services handles installation, takedown and storage. * My home lights up like a palace and I feel like a princess as we begin this holiday season! * Thank you, Sobtine, Sobhan and Jordan! It was a beautiful day, and Jordan did a great job. I also decided to have them install some red and white lights (Go, Canada!), and these will be taken down and stored later in the year when it’s time to reinstall the holiday Christmas lights.
